The Dingle Way loops the peninsula of the same name — the last piece of Ireland before the Atlantic. It is a Gaeltacht region, meaning Irish is still the everyday language in many of the villages, and the pub conversation will shift into it without warning.
We walk the full loop in nine stages, swim in the sea most afternoons, and have a long slow dinner in Dingle town at mid-trip.
The highlight for most walkers is the section around Slea Head, looking out toward the Blasket Islands.
